Dynamics

In this unit, we study the forces that cause motion. Building on our understanding of kinematics, we will apply Newton’s Laws to analyze how forces affect objects at rest and in motion. You will learn how to draw free-body diagrams, calculate net force, and solve problems involving friction, gravity, and applied forces. Dynamics connects motion to its causes and forms a major foundation for the rest of Physics.
