Trigonometry

In this unit, we focus on using right triangles to measure and solve problems. We will begin with direct measurement and the relationships between the sides and angles of right triangles before using the Pythagorean theorem and the primary trigonometric ratios — sine, cosine, and tangent — to determine unknown sides and angles. These relationships allow us to extend what we can measure directly and solve problems involving indirect measurement.
