Financial Literacy

The Financial Literacy unit applies mathematics to financial decisions that can arise in trades, business, and the workplace. Learners investigate expenses, loans, borrowing costs, leasing and purchasing, interest, financial growth, and projections. The emphasis is on comparing options using the complete financial picture and using mathematical evidence to make and justify reasonable financial decisions.
