Before we begin our core physics units, we will review and strengthen the foundational skills that are essential for success in this course. These include measurement and unit conversion, significant figures, scientific notation, algebraic manipulation, rearranging formulas, and substitution.
These skills will be used in every unit of Physics 11. Accuracy, organization, and clear mathematical reasoning are critical in physics problem solving. Taking the time to build confidence with these fundamentals will make the rest of the course significantly smoother.
